To make it I used 2 hematit beads (about an 1 inch longh each),
size 10 and size 6 sead beads and clear bugle beads. The necklace is
24 inches long plus about 1 and 3/4 pendant.
Phase 1: Creating a necklase
I wanted a necklace to be a bulky, so this is how I did it.
First, tie a bead at the end of the thread, leaving about 5 inch end.
This can be any bead, you'll take it off after, it just prevents
first couple of beads from slipping.
Now put on the thread one size 6 bead and 3 size 10 beads. Pull the thread
through a size 6 bead. Add another 3 size 10 beads, and pull the thread
trough a big bead one more time, repeat this two more times.
Now you have one size 6 bead encircled by 12 small beads. Add one bugle bead
and repeat the process, untill you reach the desired length.
I'll show here three of four steps, because picture's tend to become
much more complicated than the process.
Phase 2: Creating a pendant
A pendant is a loop made in the foregoing technique, that has a two
hematit beads in the midlle.
Step 1: Make a string from 6 beaded elements from phase 1, beginning from bungle bead.
Add a bungle bead, add a size 6 bead, add another bungle bead, add a big
hematit bead, add a bungle bead, add a size 6 bead, add another bungle bead,
add second hematit bead, add a bungle bead, pull thread try first size 6 bead,
in this section. Now add string from another 6 beaded elements, and pull the thread trough
size 6 bead in the peak between hematit beads.
Now tie the ends of the pendant's thread, and connect it to the necklace.
On the diagram here, I'll show only "main" bead's stream (without a small beads), just
to make it more readable.
